SPEAKING

Influencing the next generation of game developers.

Committed to Inspiring Game Developers Across the Globe

Full of Knowledge to Share

It has been an amazing learning experience interviewing over 90 of some of the best people in the game industry. These guests include Chris Remo of Campo Santo, Kelly Wallick of IndieMegaBooth, and legendary game designer Bob Bates. Sharing their knowledge with the world to help others succeed is my mission. It’s an opportunity to energize the audience with actionable ideas and forge a special connection with them. This page illustrates the value I offer, why I love speaking, and how we can collaborate to see if we’re a great match.

Empower and Inspire

I feel a moral obligation to give people the motivation and tools for success. Your audience will come out with answers to their problems and have a renewed sense of goals. To get an idea of how I speak and my commitment to helping the game industry grow, check out my video where I spoke with the Houston City Council. My goal was to persuade them to fund or add incentives for video game companies in Houston. After much vocal outreach from my peers and I, I’m happy to say that as a result, the Council took notice and recently added incentive payments.

Your Audience Time is Important

I hold people’s time to the highest. Each presentation is customized to meet the goals of your conference. You can pick the suggested topics or we can discuss and adjust it specifically to your audience. I have condensed everything to ten key points. Easily digestible information and action to take on. If you allow me, I’d like to stay for the entire conference to connect with the attendees. Engaging and asking questions is the best way for people to learn and I’d love to help give them advice that could help them on their journey in the game industry.

Presentation Topics Include:

  1. Why Networking and Cultivating Relationship Matter
  2. How to Research and Not Waste Time & Energy
  3. Start Small and Expect Failure
  4. Invest in Yourself: Knowledge, Health, and Time
  5. Engage with Followers to Build Lifelong Fans
  6. Communication: Vision, Goal, Action
  7. User Feedback: Should You Develop and Start Over?
  8. Saving Your Life by Disengaging
  9. How to Stay Motivated and Publish Your Game
  10. Don’t Be a Jerk, Be a Great Person
Here’s what to expect if we work together for your event:
  • We will have an initial phone consultation so that I can understand your needs and the goals of your conference. I will also share some of my initial ideas to make sure I’m heading in the right direction.
  • You’ll have direct access to me via email and phone, and I respond promptly to your questions.
  • Your event will be announced on my blog, podcast, and social media channels.
  • I will deliver a professionally prepared presentation that is both educational and entertaining, and geared toward achieving the outcomes you have for your audience.
  • I will provide a unique resources page exclusive for conference attendees that includes a download of my slide presentation, and a list of books, articles, and other resources your audience will find helpful.
  • After the event, we’ll have a quick debrief so that I can hear from you how things went. I want to make sure that I met your expectations, and love any feedback that I can use for improving my future presentations, too.
